True Earth's products have unique features.
In traditional paints , the color is given by pigment particles. To be used in paints they are milled, and their appearance reminds a crumb of bread, rough and irregularly shaped.
When we paint, both with brush or airbrush, these shapes roll on each other, and by framing as they can, they fail to settle in a uniform way. Paint tends to get thick, airbrush is prone to clogging, and cleaning difficult. Thus they require specific fluidifying thinners, smelly and unhealty.

Nelle pitture "tradizionali" il colore è composto da particelle di pigmenti. Per essere utilizzati nelle pitture sono macinati, ed il loro aspetto ricorda una briciola di pane, ruvida e di forma irregolare.
Quando stendiamo queste pitture, sia a pennello che ad aerografo, queste forme rotolano le une sulle altre, ed incastrandosi come possono, non riescono ad sistemarsi in modo uniforme. La pittura si ispessisce, l'aerografo tende ad intasarsi e la pulizia è difficoltosa. Per questo necessitano di diluenti specifici per fluidificarli, odorosi e poco sani.
True Earth products such as SDW Shading Colors, Filter & Wash SDW evo do not contain pigment.
The coloration is obtained by microscopic spheres of resin dye. To the full advantage of the smoothness both brush and airbrush, with thin paint layers, because the microspheres tend naturally to settle in an orderly manner. No brush marks remain, and it is almost impossible to clog the airbrush. In both cases also with an unthinned paint.
As for the Filter & Wash SDW evo, the absence of traditional pigments is essential to have an incomparable transparency when you use them as filters, and you avoid the subsequent cleaning of residues when you use them as washes.
True Earth products that require texture, such as DUST Wash SDW, obviously have different, more full-bodied dyes, but all our products are based on W Resin technology, and are therefore completely free of solvents, free of alcohol, dilutable with plain water and odorless.

La colorazione è data da microscopiche sfere di resina colorante. A tutto vantaggio della scorrevolezza sia a pennello che ad aerografo, con strati di pittura molto più sottili, perchè le microsfere tendono naturalmente a sistemarsi in modo ordinato. Non restano segni del pennello, ed è quasi impossibile intasare l'aerografo. In entrambi i casi anche con la pittura utilizzata senza diluizione.
Per quanto riguarda i Filter & Wash SDW evo poi, l'assenza di pigmenti tradizionali è fondamentale per avere una incomparabile trasparenza quando li utilizzi come filtri, e ti evitano la successiva fase di pulizia dei residui quando li utilizzi come lavaggi.
I prodotti True Earth che richiedono una maggiore testura, come ad esempio i DUST Wash SDW, hanno ovviamente coloranti diversi, più corposi, ma tutti i nostri prodotti si basano sulla tecnologia W Resin, e sono qundi del tutto privi di solventi, di alcool, diluibili con semplice acqua ed inodori.
